Camp Director:  Coach John Jones

     Coach Jones is the Varsity Girls Basketball Coach and a Physical Education teacher at Conestoga High School.  Prior to coaching at Conestoga, Coach Jones spent three seasons as an assistant for the women’s basketball team at Widener University.  As a player, Jones was a four-year starter and 1,000 point scorer for Widener.   

     
During Coach Jones’ 12 year tenure as Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Conestoga, he has enjoyed:

         - 3 PIAA state playoff appearances
   - 5 Central League Championships
   - 6 20+ win seasons
   - 12 consecutive PIAA district playoff appearances
   - Named "Coach of the Year" by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Main Line Life newspapers
   - Devoted summers to developing youth basketball as director of Sky High Basketball Camp

               - Assistant camp director of the Dewey Burke Skill Development Camps
      Coach Jones resides in Havertown with his wife and two daughters ages 7 and 8 yrs old.

     Dewey Burke graduated with honors from Conestoga High School in 2002. While at Conestoga he earned 6 varsity letters - starting on the varsity football team for 3 years and the varsity basketball team for 2 years.   He was a captain of the football team in his senior year, leading the team to its most successful season ever with an 11 and 2 record, eventually losing to the PA Champions in the State Quarterfinals.   He was also a captain of the basketball team for his final two years, once again leading the team in his senior year to the District Finals. 
     Burke attended the University Of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he played for the Tar Heels and Hall of Fame Coach Roy Williams. 
He was a member of the UNC team in 2006-2007 that went 31-7, won the ACC Regular Season and Tournament Championships and earned a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, where they made it to the Elite 8.  Burke is the two-time recipient of the Foy Roberson Award for the team's most inspirational player, as voted by players and coaches.  He is one of only seven players in UNC history to win the award twice.  In addition to assisting with Sky High Basketball Camps, he is the President of Dewey Burke Management, LLC and the Director of Dewey Burke Basketball.
